Cerec CAD-CAM is the most advanced dental restorative system in the world! Cerec restorations are the most cost effective restorations we have available today! They are long lasting, durable and can be done in one appoinment. How are they done? An optical 3D image is acquired with a small camera, directly in your mouth. The restoration is created on a computer using the image data. Diamond coated instruments mill a ceramic block to reproduce the design. After polishing, the new restoration fits precisely. A unique light hardens the bonding material, uniting porcelain and tooth. Polishing or glazing ensures a pleasantly smooth and natural feel. The color and appearance make the special ceramic material blend with your tooth. The Biolase Waterlaser uses a process which gently washes away decay with laser-energized water droplets.
Hydrokinetic™ energy is produced by combining a spray of atomized water with laser energy. The result is
the energized water gently and precisely removes a wide range of tissue including tooth enamel, and soft
tissue (gum tissue) with no heat or discomfort in most cases.
What can the laser™ be used for?
- Pediatric procedures such as filllings. The lack of needles or drills is a huge plus for kids. It is great
for children who may be scared of the "drill". It's only limitation is that it can not remove old silver filling.

Dr. Gross also use lasers to diagnose cavities. The Diagnodent machine uses laser fluorescence to find hidden
decay in teeth at the earliest stages. Small lesions are found much sooner than if traditional instrument methods
are used. We also can identify decay so early that it can be reversed through hygiene, diet, and fluoride measures
such that it may never need a filling!
